Uhm.. Wolf and wolf.
They are the same because I want to represent myself on the outside like I am on the inside. And if I had the choice, then that's the best choice.
I don't know if that makes sense, but....
i wanna see if you got that look in your eye
the one before we said our goodbyes
and it's a shame that we
gotta spend our time being mad about the same things
cleaned out my friend's list. if i deleted you, but you still wanna be friends, you know what to do.

UGH I just wanted to say how much I LOVE my English class. I'm taking ENGL 203 Topics in Reading and Writing. The topic is American Indian Literature. We are going to read Momaday's On the Way to Rainy Mountain (which is apparently was a big hit to the drug culture when it came out). And, in light of that, we read Momaday's The Man Made of Words for class today.
WAS THIS CLASS MADE FOR ME?
"It seems to me that in a certain sense we are all made of words; that our most essential being consists in language. It is the element in which we think and dream and act, in which we live our daily lives. There is no way in which we can exist apart from the morality of a verbal dimension."
"And again she [Ko-sahn] spoke of the Sun Dance, it was an essential expression of her relationship to the life of the earth and to the sun and moon."
"They appropriated it [identity of American Indian], recreated it, fashioned it onto an image of themselves -- imagined it."
This is just... UGH. Pretty much my issue with identity and my love, love, love for languages. This is it. I cannot wait to read On the Way to Rainy Mountain. I'm especially interested since it was a big hit to the drug culture (more on that later).
ITT, Japanese Linguistics (EALC 570) was MADE for me as well. Just... I am so excited that we are jumping into sociolinguistics (the study of the effect of any and all aspects of society, including cultural norms, expectations, and context, on the way language is used. here).
ALL ABOUT GENDER STUDIES IN JAPANESE.
LOLWHUT
Again, these are my issues. I am very interested in "Gender Identity Disorder" people in Japan. I mean, if I'm going to go there, I need to know my rights as gaijin and as a "GID" person. While I do not consider myself completely transexual, I do fall under that umbrella term.
This is what I need to know before I go over there. I am very, very interested in this. I feel engaged this semester, I am fired up! FULL SPEED AHEAD!!!!!!!111!!one

please please please please PLEASE
PRETTY FUCKING PLEASE
Send prayers/energy/thoughts whatever my way.
I might not be able to go to Japan now.
All because of swine flu. I know it's stupid and I'm not scared. But I can't help what happens, I am but a lowly student person.

Dangerous Angels. Because it's by Francesca Lia Block. And every time I read this book I fucking cry because one day I want my life to end up like that. Minus the babies, of course. It includes her books: Weetzie Bat, Witch Baby, Cherokee Bat and the Goat Guys, Missing Angel Juan, and Baby Be-Bop.
Of course, it's about kids like me growing up into the adults I want to be.
And, of course, I want to be like Francesca Lia Block one day and write novels like her. *w*
「We cheer for these young women and men as they struggle with the universal trials of growing up, finding love, and letting go--all within the vivid, glittering, urban embrace of Los Angeles. Block's stories about finding yourself, being true to your dreams, and believing in what might seem impossible will inspire teens and adults alike with the resounding messages of hope and the transformative power of love.」 --Brangien Davis
I could not have said it better myself.
